Torn ear drum
So finally, after eight months of battering on the door of the NHS to get them to take some action my son got referred to ENT and got his ears examined under sedation. He was in so much pain that he wouldn't let anyone near them. The surgeon found that his left grommet had been pushed out by the infection and cut his eardrum. The grommet was now lying across his eardrum causing even more pain. He removed the grommet but against our wishes did not replace it. Now my son has yet another infection. Horrahfor doctors! Idiots.
